Work Experience
Responsys Visual Designer Sept. 2010-Present -I started at Responsys not knowing anything about email design and quickly adapted to the fast paced world
of digital marketing. On a typical day I am juggling 3 or 4 email projects at a time. This requires diligent time management and a thorough understanding of the clients brand. Being a designer at Responsys has brought great opportunities to work with other groups of people from the copy writing, coding and project managing disciplines on a daily basis. I primarily design for HTML, but every once in a while a special request comes
in to do a print project and a variety of other web graphics.
-My primary clients are Yahoo!.com and Verizon Wireless.
Amazon Payments Contract Designer May 2009-March 2010
-I was brought onto the Payments team to ensure a cohesive look and feel between Amazon.com and Amazon Payments. Having thorough knowledge of the Amazon brand, I was able to successfully integrate their design standards and bring it to the Payments platform. I was responsible for creating a number of graphics including: most of the design elements on the new Amazon Payments website, a variety of email graphics, and print
projects among many other daily design needs.
Amazon.com Contract Designer Feb. 2009-May 2009
-I did work as needed for the Sexual Wellness store on Amazon.com.
-I was a contract designer at Amazon.com for the holiday season. It was a three month contract
in the fourth quarter and I was able to pick up the brand guidelines quickly and was successful at
producing many graphics a day.
Education
Received an AAS in graphic design and illustration at Seattle Central Community College.
-It's a 2 year program that emphasizes on classic and contemporary methods of design. Here is where
I fostered my love of typography, color theory, and mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
